Incarnate Ministry
Oasis Madrid’s Incarnate Ministry aims to “incarnate” (or embody) Christ to the world through expressing the love of Jesus in tangible ways. Specifically, we aim to help the poor, sick, hurting, orphaned and widowed. Members of Oasis Madrid are encouraged to find various ways to incarnate Christ in practical ways by serving others. Recently, we have done this in two ways:
1. Giving food to the homeless: Every Friday a few Oasis Madrid members buy, prepare and hand out food to about 35 homeless people in Madrid. If you’d like to get involved in this through either participating on Friday’s, giving financially, praying or providing other items (such as clothes) please contact Kelly Crull at kelly@caimail.net.
2. Morocco Ministry: Typically each autumn (in October or November) Oasis Madrid takes a small team of people to Morocco to minister in an orphanage. The team always takes a financial gift to help workers and children there. In many cases, they will also take supplies such as diapers, medicine and clothing.
