Oasis Madrid makes and hands out sandwiches every week to homeless people in Madrid that we have begun building relationships with. You can help shop for the food, prepare sandwiches, go out and hand out food and clothes, or stay at the Holy Spirit House and pray for the homeless. You can help with as many or few parts of this ministry as you want.

Studying: We’re reading a book called How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth. The book is sort of a “toolbox” for learning how to interpret different books of the Bible in their original context and then apply them to our current situation. Come and join us if you’d like to learn more…and if you enjoy good food (we have excellent cooks in our group!).

We meet in a cafe style setting (usually candle-lit) and do our best to make our services informal, artistic and interactive. During our services, children 11 and under are invited to participate in Godly Play, a program that emphasizes story-telling and “wondering”.

The school is near metro Guzman el Bueno on the gray line 6. When you step off the train, take the exit labeled “General Rodrigo” to go out the right entrance to the street level. Once on the street, keep walking straight and take the first street you cross to the right. Go one block and turn left on Avenida del Valle. This is the street the school is on, and it will be on the right hand side of the street (number 28) as you are walking down.
